My Girlfriend Sleeps Like Superman is Boston-based filmmaker Steve Gentile's fourth animated film.  Various press outlets have referred to Gentile’s work as “crudely drawn and minimalist", “virtuosic”, “distinctive”, “striking” and “aesthetically pleasing and fun”.  Each frame is hand-drawn with ink on paper, and photographed one frame at a time.
